What's new at the Living Room Cafe
Every day: We make our own breakfast sandwiches with egg, sausage or bacon, and your choice of cheese. We also offer freshly baked muffins and bagels. We have terrific homemade chicken salad sandwiches served on toasted soft rolls with lettuce and your choice of cheeses. And then there's Chris' super-fantastic tuna salad, which makes simply awesome tuna melts. There's also a soup of the day... usually vegetarian, and our famous chili. Our desserts range from brick-sized rice krispie treats, to cheesecake, cannolis, and a rotating variety of cakes and pies.
Weekends: Belgian waffles are hot off the iron! Choose to top yours with blueberries, strawberries, a berry medley, bananas, or everything! There's pure maple syrup and whipped cream too! Available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. We also offer the Hungry Person Breakfast: a Belgian waffle, 2-egg omlette, 2 bacon and one sausage patty, and one english muffin. A great dish to share with a friend, too. Yummmm. Of course, our hefty, cheesy breakfast sandwiches are always available.

The Living Room Cafe is in the Upper Monroe neighborhood and offers a selection of free trade and organic coffees as well as other confections. Located a right next to Jeremiah's, it's a great place to sit back and relax with a French Press, double espresso, comforting latte, or hot spiced cider.
